Solar Agent
The project management side of Ballast Solar. It keeps every job moving and does the follow-up a coordinator would. You approve; it runs.
What it does
It keeps jobs moving
Stuck permits, quiet utility applications, late materials and overdue tasks get followed up.
It keeps homeowners posted
Texts and emails at each stage, logged on the job.
It does the paperwork
Plan-set PDFs, stamp requests, correction rounds, applications and invoices, prepared for you.
It answers questions
What is stuck, what is due this week, who is carrying what, straight from your jobs.
Nine stages, survey to PTO
Site survey · Design · Permitting · Interconnection · Materials · Scheduling · Installation · Inspection and PTO · Monitoring. Each is tracked to the day, with job costing underneath for the people who should see it.
You stay in charge
- Nothing reaches a customer without your OK. Texts, emails, documents, applications and invoices wait for approval.
- You choose what it may do alone.
- Everything is logged, and most of it can be undone.

About 23 hours a week back
That is roughly one coordinator’s week at ten installs a month, and it scales with volume.
Questions
Is it separate from Ballast Solar?
No. It is an add-on switched on for your account. The plan-set tools work the same with or without it.
Does it act without asking?
Only for notes and tasks, and you can undo those. Anything that reaches a customer or moves a job waits for your approval.
Can I move my jobs over from another CRM?
Yes. Your projects, contacts and documents come over, and we help you move.
